Alistair joined the board of Reliance High-Tech in September 2018, prior to which he was the President of the Global Products and Technology Division at Stanley Security.
During a successful career that spans more than 20 years within the Security Industry starting in sales, Alistair has worked across a range of Commercial, Technology and Leadership positions ranging from mid sized, independent UK businesses, through to venture capital backed International Security & Systems Manufacturers, as well as global roles within large corporations such as Stanley and Siemens.
These roles have included very successful business turn arounds, carve outs and business integrations all aimed at accelerating /unlocking sustainable growth, while also developing innovative solutions for customers.
This unique wealth of experience across a diverse company, cultural, country and customer landscape has enabled Alistair to develop a broad range of key business skills focused on effective leadership, profitable growth, innovation and customer satisfaction, in an ever changing world.
Alistair has an MBA from University of Wales and is an active member of UK Athletics through the organisation of a regional race league and coaching of young athletes.
Terry joined the board of Reliance High-Tech as Sales and Marketing Director in 2005, having performed a similar role for Johnson Controls Fire and Security EMEA. He was appointed Managing Director in 2008.
Having established the company as a leading Systems Integrator, he has positioned Reliance as the brand of choice for customers with mission-critical security needs, creating a dominant position in the CNI, Utilities, High Security and Corporate sectors.
Terry is a business graduate and Chartered Marketer with diverse experience within Global and SME organisations across security systems, technology, FM, business services and FMCG markets in the UK and Europe. He has held a variety of roles with blue chip organisations including Nestle, Staples, Johnson Controls and United Technologies, focusing on business strategy and new market development.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a member of the Security Institute.
Paul joined the board of Reliance High-Tech in 2016 as an Independent Director with specific interests in technology development and differentiation. Paul is an entrepreneurial technologist with a substantial track record for applying innovation in the security, defence, transport and medical sectors spanning Government, SMEs and International PLCs.
Paul is an Applied Physics graduate and spent his early career with UK MoD, then with QinetiQ where he fulfilled a number of leadership roles including Technical Director of the Sensors & Avionics business and then as the CEO of QinetiQ Inc. Subsequently, Paul founded and ran a SME. Paul’s business skills include leadership, substantial international P&L experience (>$100M), capital raising and realising value from technology.
Paul is a Fellow of The Institute of Technology and Engineering and The Institute of Physics and is a Chartered Engineer.
Andy joined Reliance High-Tech in 2014 as Director of Technology from UTC following several senior roles within the security industry.
Andy has over 25 years of experience working within IT, fire and security. During this time he has delivered information technology solutions that have successfully combined operational improvements with technical compliance for leading security organisations and their customers. This has included roles with Chubb Fire and Security and UTC Fire and Security globally.
His role at Reliance High-Tech is focused on creating differentiation and growth through new technologies and offerings, whilst also ensuring that Reliance continues to deliver innovative and secure solutions to its key markets.
Dan joined the Board of Reliance High-Tech in August 2008 as Sales and Marketing Director, joining from Stanley Security Solutions – EMEA, where he was latterly Commercial Director.
Dan served as an Army Officer in the British Army for 7 years, after which he worked in a variety of roles across a range of organisations including Citibank, Investis, and Stanley Security Solutions – Europe.
Dan is a graduate of Cambridge University and has an MBA.
David joined the board of Reliance High-Tech as Finance Director in August 2018, following 14 years in Siemens. The majority of his time there was spent within Siemens Building Technologies where he held a variety of senior finance and commercial roles and has 10 years’ experience within the Fire & Security market. David has a track record of delivering process improvement across the finance functions and has a strong focus on customer relations.
David is a Chartered Management Accountant, CIMA and has a Law Degree from Brunel University.
John joined the board of Reliance High-Tech as Operations Director in January 2014 having performed a similar role for Chubb Fire and Security.
John has diverse experience within PLCs, SMEs and venture capital backed organisations across Fire and security systems, Technology, Facilities Management and Mechanical engineering business services in the UK and Europe.
He has held a variety of senior roles with blue chip organisations in business delivery for multiple market sectors, service management, operations, engineering, technical delivery, remote alarm monitoring, project management and commercial.
Chris joined Reliance in 2013 in the role of Head of Lone Worker Services having spent the previous 10 years in the lone worker sector with SoloProtect (formerly Connexion2) in senior management positions responsible for developing both direct and indirect channel sales models both in the UK and overseas. Chris took overall responsibility for the Reliance Protect business unit and joined the Reliance Executive Management Team in late 2013.
Chris has extensive experience in deploying large scale lone worker solutions with clients across a range of sectors and end user applications. Chris sits on the BSIA lone worker section committee and was part of the BS 8484 lone worker standard development work in 2016. Chris is driven by business growth through really understanding customer needs and delivering solutions aimed to maximise value with service delivery to the highest standards.
Chris graduated from Loughborough University of Technology with a Science degree and initially held technical and project management positions within the utilities sector before moving into product development and consultancy within the medical device industry, working with start-ups to multinationals.
